Refund & Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy Wonder picnics and Events:

1. Event Reservation

A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total booking amount is required to secure the event date. The booking will not be considered confirmed until the deposit has been received.

The remaining balance must be paid in full at least forty-eight (48) hours before the scheduled event date. Failure to complete payment may result in cancellation of the event without refund of the deposit.

2. Client Cancellation

If the Client cancels the event for any reason:

• The 30% deposit is non-refundable.
• Any payment made beyond the deposit may be applied as a credit toward a future event if cancellation is requested at least seven (7) days before the scheduled event date.
• Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the event are not eligible for refunds or credits.

3. Rescheduling

The Client may reschedule the event one (1) time at no additional charge if notice is given at least seven (7) days before the scheduled event date.

The rescheduled event must take place within twelve (12) months of the original booking date and is subject to availability.

Additional date change requests may be subject to administrative fees.

4. Weather Policy

For outdoor events, weather conditions may require adjustments.

If rain, storms, extreme heat, poor air quality, strong winds, or other unsafe conditions are forecasted, Wonder Picnics & Events may offer:

• Relocation of the event to the Client’s residence or another mutually approved covered location.
• Rescheduling the event to a new available date within twelve (12) months.

Weather-related changes do not qualify for refunds.

5. Site Requirements and Pre-Event Verification

To ensure a safe and successful setup, the Client must provide recent photos and/or videos of the event space at least seven (7) days before the event date. Wonder Picnics & Events may request additional details, measurements, or photos to confirm that the location meets safe setup requirements.

For Glamping Experiences, a minimum space of 5 meters (16.4 feet) in diameter is required for the tent, plus an additional 1.5 meters (5 feet) of clearance for ropes, anchors, and safe installation. These requirements are shared with the Client prior to the event.

If the required photos or videos are not provided on time, Wonder Picnics & Events reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the event without liability and without refund of the deposit.

If, upon arrival, the space differs from what was provided, is unsafe, or does not meet setup requirements, the Company may cancel or reschedule the event.

Rescheduling due to incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information, or an unsuitable space, will incur a 5% fee of the total booking value to cover operational costs, travel, fuel, and staff time.

6. Event Duration

Standard picnic experiences include four (4) hours unless otherwise specified in the selected package.

Additional hours may be added at a rate of $50 CAD per hour and are subject to availability.

7. No-Show Policy

If the Client fails to attend the event or is unavailable at the agreed location and scheduled setup time, no refund or credit will be provided.

8. Cancellation by Wonder Picnics & Events

In the unlikely event that Wonder Picnics & Events must cancel due to illness, emergency, extreme conditions, or circumstances beyond its control (force majeure), the Client may choose to:

• Reschedule the event at no additional cost.
• Receive a full refund of all payments made, including the reservation deposit.

By submitting a booking, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to this Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refund Policy.
